Job Description:
Clinical Instructors support students in clinical placements, teach clinical skills, supervise students in health facilities, and ensure the translation of theory into practice. They also engage in training updates and skills assessments.


ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

Deputy Finance Officer – Grade 14

Job Description:
The Deputy Finance Officer oversees financial operations, implements financial strategies, ensures compliance with statutory obligations, supervises accounting staff, and supports audits and budget planning. Proficiency in financial systems is essential.


Deputy Registrar, Examinations – Grade 14

Job Description:
This role involves overseeing examination processes, managing examination records, coordinating invigilation, safeguarding exam integrity, and ensuring timely processing of results and transcripts. The officer will also lead the examination policy implementation.


Deputy Registrar, Admissions – Grade 14

Job Description:
This officer will manage the admissions process from application to enrolment, ensure compliance with admission policies, oversee data management, and liaise with academic departments to align enrolment targets with capacity.


Senior Librarian – Grade 13

Job Description:
The Senior Librarian is responsible for managing library resources, supervising library staff, ensuring user support services, developing digital resource platforms, and contributing to research support services and library strategic development.


Chief Communications Officer – Grade 12

Job Description:
This officer develops and executes communication strategies, manages media relations, edits and designs institutional materials, enhances public relations, oversees marketing campaigns, and manages the university’s digital presence. Strong stakeholder management and creative communication are crucial.


Software Developer (ICT Officer I) – Grade 11

Job Description:
The Software Developer designs, codes, and maintains university systems, develops applications, supports cross-platform integration, configures Windows servers, and supports enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., Navision). Collaboration with users and IT support is essential.


Information Technology Security Officer (ICT Officer I) – Grade 11

Job Description:
This role focuses on securing IT infrastructure, managing firewalls and VPNs, ensuring compliance with IT security standards, and monitoring systems for vulnerabilities. The officer also trains staff on cybersecurity practices and responds to breaches.


Database Administrator (ICT Officer II) – Grade 10

Job Description:
The Database Administrator maintains database systems, ensures data integrity, supports backup and recovery procedures, manages user access, and assists in ERP system integration. Expertise in SQL and Windows servers is required.


Webmaster – Grade 10

Job Description:
The Webmaster manages the university website, develops and updates web content, ensures SEO performance, handles CMS platforms, and oversees web security and performance. Experience in design tools and Google certification is desirable.


Content Developer/Instructional Designer – Grade 10

Job Description:
This professional will design instructional materials for online and blended learning, develop digital content, conduct learning needs analysis, work with LMS platforms, and liaise with faculty for course development. Knowledge of educational technologies is essential.


ICT Officer – Grade 8

Job Description:
The ICT Officer provides user support, maintains IT infrastructure, manages audio-visual tools, administers printing solutions, and supports software applications such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The role also involves help-desk operations and troubleshooting.


Clinical Officer I – Grade 9

Job Description:
The Clinical Officer provides outpatient care, performs diagnostic and curative services, participates in health outreach programs, keeps medical records, and refers patients where necessary. The position also entails compliance with health regulations and protocols.


Farm Manager – Grade 9

Job Description:
The Farm Manager oversees the daily operations of the university’s farm, manages crop and livestock production, supervises farm workers, maintains records, and implements sustainable agriculture practices. The role involves strategic planning and resource optimization.


Administrative Assistant I – Grade 8

Job Description:
This officer handles administrative tasks, coordinates departmental communication, maintains office records, supports meetings and reporting, and liaises with departments for administrative compliance. ICT proficiency and strong organizational skills are required.
