Driver (Bus)
Department: Corporate Services
Job Reference: KoTDA/HR/01/2025
Job Description:
The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely operating the Authority’s passenger buses, ensuring the secure transportation of staff and official guests within and outside the Technopolis precincts. The driver is expected to perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any mechanical problems promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate KoTDA’s bus in a safe and timely manner, transporting staff to and from assigned destinations.
- Ensure the safety of passengers at all times, enforcing safety regulations and assisting passengers when boarding or disembarking.
- Carry out daily inspection of the bus for cleanliness, oil, water, tire pressure, and other vehicle systems.
- Report all mechanical issues or incidents to the transport officer for prompt attention.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, servicing, and repairs.
- Ensure all necessary documents such as road licenses, inspection stickers, and insurance are valid and up to date.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations to avoid penalties and promote safe road usage.
- Support logistics during official functions, conferences, and delegations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Senior Legal Officer
Department: Corporation Secretary & Legal Services

Job Description:
The Senior Legal Officer will provide high-level legal advisory services, support the Authority in litigation matters, ensure compliance with statutory obligations, and assist in corporate governance matters. This role requires in-depth legal knowledge and the ability to handle complex legal issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer legal advisory services and interpretations to the Authority on various matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts, leases, and MOUs.
- Represent the Authority in court proceedings and coordinate litigation matters with external lawyers.
- Assist in drafting and vetting policy and regulatory documents.
- Ensure statutory and legal compliance in the Authority’s operations.
- Provide support on matters of governance including preparation of Board papers and minutes.
- Prepare reports on legal matters including risk exposure and litigation status.
- Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise management accordingly.

Internal Auditor
Department: Internal Audit & Risk Assurance

Job Description:
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for carrying out audits, identifying risk exposures, evaluating internal controls, and making recommendations to improve processes and safeguard the Authority’s assets. The role demands an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and an understanding of auditing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal audit plans.
- Conduct risk-based audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance, and governance processes.
- Review operational and financial systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and report progress to management.
- Evaluate compliance with procurement laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.

Manager, Legal Services

Job Description:
The Manager, Legal Services will oversee all legal functions within the Authority, provide leadership in legal and compliance matters, and ensure that KoTDA operates within the framework of the law. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and deep knowledge of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and public service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Authority’s legal, compliance, and governance functions.
- Provide strategic legal advice to the Board, Management, and Departments.
- Ensure KoTDA’s compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate litigation and ensure the Authority is adequately represented in legal matters.
- Draft and review contracts, leases, agreements, and policy documents.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Support corporate governance by ensuring proper record keeping, Board support, and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
- Ensure timely resolution of legal issues affecting the Authority’s operations.
- Mentor and guide the legal services team, providing professional development opportunities.
- Develop and monitor the Legal Services department’s budget and work plans.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and government agencies on legal and regulatory issues.
- Provide legal support in matters related to intellectual property, data protection, and information security.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Corporation Secretary.
Legal Officer
Department: Corporation Secretary & Legal Services

Job Description:
The Legal Officer will support the legal team in providing legal guidance, reviewing documents, managing litigation matters, and ensuring organizational compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate must have excellent analytical and communication skills and be able to work under minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts, service level agreements, and other legal documents.
- Support the litigation process by coordinating with external lawyers and attending court sessions.
- Conduct legal research and provide opinions on various legal matters.
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise relevant departments.
- Support implementation of legal frameworks, internal policies, and compliance mechanisms.
- Prepare reports on legal matters and litigation status.
- Assist in ensuring that KoTDA’s operations are compliant with applicable laws.
- Provide legal input in disciplinary and procurement processes when required.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure legal support is availed for project execution.
- Assist in the implementation of corporate governance strategies.
- Keep records of legal matters and maintain a legal database.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Legal Officer or Manager.
