1. Assistant Accountant – MAP AMR KENYA
Deadline: Monday, July 21, 2025
The Assistant Accountant will support the financial operations of the MAP AMR KENYA project, which focuses on antimicrobial resistance monitoring and analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the project in compliance with university and donor requirements.
- Process project expenditures and maintain cashbooks, ledgers, and bank reconciliation statements.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for donor submission.
- Monitor project budgets and flag variances or anomalies.
- Facilitate timely procurement and payment processing.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.
- Maintain proper filing of all financial documents and transaction records.
2. PhD Research Assistant – Re-advertisement

This is a re-advertised position based at the KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research under the VLIR-UOS Program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support PhD-level research activities including literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
