1. Senior Manager – Domain Architect Core Banking Applications

Deadline: 18th July 2025

As the Senior Manager – Domain Architect for Core Banking Applications, you will be responsible for guiding and shaping KCB’s core banking systems across retail, corporate, investment banking, and insurance operations. The position ensures that these applications are in line with strategic business objectives, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee the implementation of the core banking ecosystem to ensure seamless data exchange and optimal system performance.
  • Provide architectural guidance across teams and business units for system integrations and upgrades.
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies to modernize core banking platforms.
  • Ensure system compliance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient banking solutions.

2. Business Continuity Manager

Deadline: 18th July 2025

The Business Continuity Manager will be pivotal in ensuring the bank’s ability to anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive events. The role involves developing and continuously improving operational resilience strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and regular review of business continuity plans and recovery strategies across departments.
  • Embed resilience best practices across the organization’s first line of defense.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Drive training initiatives and conduct simulations to test organizational readiness.
  • Report on resilience performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

3. Programme Manager, Tertiary & Alumni – KCB Foundation

Deadline: 25th July 2025

This role reports to the Senior Programme Manager – Education and is responsible for the implementation and management of tertiary education and alumni initiatives under the KCB Foundation’s Education Programme. You will support over 1,000 current students and lead the annual onboarding of approximately 1,000 new scholars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the administration and growth of tertiary-level and alumni programs.
  • Monitor the academic performance and wellbeing of beneficiaries.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with educational institutions, partners, and sponsors.
  • Track and report on program impact, success stories, and areas for improvement.
  • Promote alumni engagement and mentorship opportunities for current students.

4. Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

Deadline: 25th July 2025

Reporting to the Project Manager, the M&E Manager will lead the design and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks across projects and regions. This role ensures data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools, and systems tailored to specific projects.
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting of project outcomes.
  • Provide technical M&E support to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure real-time tracking and feedback mechanisms are in place.
  • Facilitate learning and knowledge sharing across the organization.

5. SAHL Banker – Garissa Branch

Deadline: 25th July 2025

The SAHL Banker is responsible for driving the growth of SAHL (Islamic Banking) business in both asset and liability portfolios. This includes achieving sales targets and ensuring that banking activities adhere to Shariah principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote SAHL banking products and acquire new business.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients and the community.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and Shariah law.
  • Support the branch team in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.

6. Universal Banker – Moyale Branch

Deadline: 25th July 2025

The Universal Banker will implement all banking propositions to drive customer growth and retention at the Moyale Branch. The role involves handling both teller and sales responsibilities with a focus on service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-office banking services and manage customer transactions.
  • Cross-sell banking products based on customer needs.
  • Support branch growth by achieving individual sales targets.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance.
  • Resolve client queries and concerns in a timely manner.

7. Branch Manager – Takaba Branch

Deadline: 21st July 2025

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, Nairobi Environs, the Branch Manager will lead the Takaba Branch’s strategic direction, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive branch performance to meet profitability and customer acquisition goals.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the branch team to ensure high productivity.
  • Foster strong customer relationships and ensure service delivery excellence.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
