Key Responsibilities:
- i.Provide high-quality nursing care to participants,
- ii.Conduct participant’s assessments, monitor vital signs, and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
- iii.Obtaining informed consent and enrolment of participants into study.
- iv.Explaining study procedures to eligible participants
- v.Obtains medical history and performs physical examination
- vi.Offers individual, group and family counseling to participants and patients
- vii.Confirms eligibility for all study participants
- viii.Conducts protocol specific tests and procedures
- ix.Providing project management team with regular feedback on participant recruitment.
- x.Provide HIV counseling, testing and lab results interpretation
- xi.Verify quality of data by comparing abstracted data to source documents
- xii.Responds to participant’s calls
- xiii.Administer the oral cholera vaccine and perform phlebotomy.
- xiv.Retention activities-follow up of participants in need of close monitoring and review together with visit reminders via phone calls
- xv.Record any adverse events and notify the lead clinician of the same as per protocol
- xvi.Performs other duties as may be assigned
- xvii.Collaborate with the research team to collect, document, and report clinical data accurately.
- xviii.Administer Case Report Forms and perform quality checks
- xix.Ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory, and clinical guidelines in all activities.
- xx.Participate in training and capacity-building activities for clinic staff and community partners.
