1. Senior Lecturer
The role of Senior Lecturer in this department involves advanced teaching, mentoring of postgraduate students, and contributing to research in environmental and public health fields. Areas of specialization sought include:
- Environmental Health (must have a BSc in Environmental Health or Public Health and registration with the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council)
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

Candidates must demonstrate at least three years of university teaching experience as a full-time Lecturer, have published at least three articles in refereed journals, successfully supervised at least three master’s students, and contributed to academic conferences or workshops.
2. Lecturer

Department of Community Health and Reproductive Health Nursing
1. Lecturer
This position requires specialization in:
- Mental Health & Psychiatry Nursing
- Oncology Nursing
Applicants must possess a PhD in the specified areas, a Master’s degree in the corresponding field, and a BSc in Nursing. They should have at least three years of university teaching experience, two journal publications, and demonstrate strong teaching and research credentials. Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and a valid practicing license is mandatory.
2. Clinical Instructor
The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for the practical training of nursing students. The minimum qualifications include a BSc in Nursing, registration with NCK, and at least three years of experience in a referral, teaching, or research hospital. A Master’s degree in Midwifery, Oncology, or Mental and Psychiatry Nursing is an added advantage.
Department of Medical Surgical Nursing and Pre-Clinical Sciences
1. Lecturer

1. Lecturer
This department seeks Lecturers specializing in various fields of dental surgery, including:

Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health
1. Professor
Professors in this department are expected to provide academic leadership and mentor junior staff. Candidates should hold a PhD in Medicine or Public Health, an MMed in Psychiatry, and have served as Associate Professors for at least three years. Other requirements include:
- Five journal articles published as Associate Professor
- Supervision of at least five postgraduate students (two at Doctoral level)
- Evidence of successful grant application
- Active participation in academic conferences
- Valid registration with KMPDC
2. Associate Professor
Applicants should possess a PhD in Medicine or Public Health, an MMed in Psychiatry, and have at least three years of experience as a Senior Lecturer. Requirements include:
- Four articles published in refereed journals as Senior Lecturer
- Supervision of four postgraduate students (one at Doctoral level)
- Evidence of grant application
- Valid KMPDC practicing license
3. Senior Lecturer
This role demands strong teaching and research capabilities. Requirements include:
- PhD in Medicine or Public Health
- MMed in Psychiatry
- Three years of teaching or research/industry experience as Lecturer
- Three publications in refereed journals
- Supervision of at least three postgraduate students
- Valid KMPDC registration
Department of Literature, Linguistics & Foreign Languages
1. Lecturer (German Language)
This position requires a PhD in German Language from a recognized university, at least three years of teaching or research/industry experience, two refereed journal publications, and participation in scholarly conferences or workshops.
2. Tutorial Fellow (German Language)
This position is open to candidates with a Master’s degree in German Language. While prior teaching experience is an advantage, the willingness to pursue a PhD in the area of specialization is key. Registration for a PhD program will be an added advantage.

All positions offer competitive remuneration packages, including:

Tutorial Fellows will be employed on a one-year renewable contract for up to three years.
