Job Overview
As a Financial Advisor, you will play a vital role in the company’s front-line sales and client service strategy. You will be tasked with identifying and reaching potential clients, educating them about insurance and investment products, and guiding them in making informed financial decisions. Key Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidates will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities and duties:
- Provision of Financial Advisory Services
- Advise clients on suitable financial services and insurance products offered by Pioneer Assurance including life insurance, pension schemes, and investment packages.
- Provide professional guidance to clients on risk management, wealth accumulation, and retirement planning.
- Customize financial plans to suit individual and corporate client needs, ensuring value for money and alignment with their long-term financial goals.
- Sales and Marketing of Insurance Financial Services
- Identify and target new markets through various strategies such as cold calling, referrals, corporate engagement, and roadshows.
- Promote and sell Pioneer Assurance’s range of insurance and financial products to individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of products and communicate their benefits convincingly to prospective clients.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients by offering continuous after-sales support, periodic policy reviews, and responsive customer service.
- Ensure client records are updated and well-maintained in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.
- Act as a liaison between the client and the company, ensuring smooth service delivery and claims processing.
- Market Analysis and Business Intelligence
- Conduct regular market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and client demands.
- Share feedback with the sales management team for product improvement and enhanced customer engagement strategies.
- Identify new sales opportunities and present creative approaches to drive revenue and brand visibility.
- Achievement of Performance Targets
- Consistently meet and exceed set sales targets in terms of revenue, number of policies sold, and client portfolio growth.
- Participate actively in periodic performance reviews, training workshops, and team-building sessions.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, ethical conduct, and compliance with industry standards and internal company policies.
- Client Education and Public Engagement
- Host and attend client education forums, exhibitions, and financial literacy campaigns organized by the company.
- Empower clients through financial knowledge by explaining complex financial concepts in a simplified manner.

Required Qualifications and Skills
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- A Diploma in Sales and Marketing is mandatory.
- A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate is required as a baseline academic qualification.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in sales and marketing is highly desirable. Experience in financial services will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
