The Assistant Manager – IT Business Projects will be responsible for the end-to-end management of business and IT-related projects to ensure successful implementation, timely delivery, optimal budgeting, and realization of expected benefits. The ideal candidate will utilize a structured project management approach to oversee the full lifecycle of projects while simultaneously managing stakeholder expectations and mitigating potential risks.

Detailed Job Description
Project Management – 60%
The core responsibility of this role is the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT business projects. Key tasks include:
- Project Leadership: Assume full accountability for the execution of assigned projects by leading, planning, and controlling project tasks from initiation to completion.
- Portfolio Oversight: Manage multiple projects within a broader portfolio, optimizing resource use while maintaining focus on deadlines, scope, and quality.
- Methodological Rigor: Apply established project management frameworks such as PMP or PRINCE2 in planning, executing, and monitoring project tasks.
- Documentation: Draft and maintain key documents such as the Project Charter, Project Management Plan, and stakeholder communication plans to guide and document the process.
- Team Management: Assemble and lead cross-functional teams that bring together the technical, operational, and business perspectives necessary for successful project delivery.
- Workstream Coordination: In collaboration with departmental heads and functional leads, assign responsibilities, clarify expectations, and ensure optimal productivity from each contributor.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify all relevant internal and external stakeholders, define their roles, and ensure effective engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Knowledge and Education Requirements
