1. Database Administration Officer (ICT)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, configuration, implementation, and monitoring of database systems across the organization.
  • Carry out day-to-day administration of database platforms, including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, depending on the organization’s systems.

  • Execute backup and recovery operations to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage a designated portfolio of NPL accounts across various segments.
  • Analyze each account to identify root causes of delinquency and assess recovery potential.
  • Develop and document individualized recoveries action plans tailored to each customer’s situation.
  • Follow up on action plans to ensure timely implementation and track progress toward desired outcomes.
  • Liaise with customers to negotiate feasible repayment terms or restructure options.
  • Escalate complex cases to legal recovery processes where necessary and follow through to resolution.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to prepare documentation and provide support during litigation.
  • Prepare periodic reports on recovery progress, challenges, and success rates.

4. Manager Debt Management – Commercial and SME (Credit)

The Manager Debt Management, Commercial and SME is responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, and performance management of recoveries for distressed accounts in the commercial and SME segments. This role demands a high level of strategic oversight and hands-on execution in minimizing credit losses while ensuring efficient turnaround of impaired assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of recovery strategies tailored to the Commercial and SME loan portfolios.
  • Analyze risk profiles and determine appropriate intervention strategies for each recoveries customer.
  • Implement managed exit solutions or return-to-performing plans, ensuring optimal recoveries in minimal time.
  • Provide regular and structured reviews of the entire recoveries portfolio under management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers in recovery, maintaining professional relationships and facilitating effective communications.
  • Lead negotiations with borrowers and provide guidance on restructuring proposals.
  • Recommend and oversee legal recovery actions where amicable solutions are not feasible.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports and ensure adherence to set recovery targets.
  • Drive innovation in recoveries approaches by leveraging data analytics and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Credit departments to realign risk appetite and collection strategies.
  • Advise senior management on credit trends, portfolio risks, and emerging threats within the commercial and SME segments.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders detailing recovery achievements, forecasts, and challenges.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in debt collection practices.
