- Retail Manager
As the Retail Manager, you will be the overall head of the store, responsible for supervising all daily operations and ensuring that the Nakuru branch meets performance targets while delivering exceptional customer service. You will act as the bridge between senior management and the branch team, ensuring strategic goals are executed at the ground level.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch to ensure smooth, efficient functioning.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Supervise and mentor all departmental heads and ensure performance benchmarks are met.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory, coordinate timely restocking, and reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive payments by cash, mobile money, or card and provide change accurately.
- Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and thank them after transactions.
- Scan, package, and label items efficiently while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations.
- Verify pricing, discounts, and promotional offers applied to products.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints at the point of sale.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Uphold strict standards of honesty and professionalism.
- Shelf Attendants
Shelf Attendants ensure that the supermarket is organized, clean, and well-stocked. They contribute directly to the customer experience by maintaining product visibility and orderliness on shelves.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unpack stock and replenish shelves with new merchandise.
- Ensure product arrangement is neat, tidy, and in alignment with visual merchandising standards.
- Clean shelves and ensure expired or damaged items are removed promptly.
- Check and update product price tags regularly to reflect current rates.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide basic information about items.
- Report low-stock or fast-moving products to the inventory controller or supervisor.
- Assist in loading and offloading goods during restocking periods.
- Ensure warehouse storage areas are tidy and organized.
- Supervisors
Supervisors serve as departmental team leaders, ensuring that operations within their assigned area run smoothly and effectively. They are responsible for overseeing staff performance, stock levels, and customer service standards.

- Assign daily duties to staff and ensure tasks are executed as planned.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and overall productivity.

- Cleaners
Cleaners are essential in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness standards of the supermarket, thereby creating a comfortable shopping environment for our customers and a safe workspace for our employees.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean all supermarket areas including aisles, washrooms, staff rooms, and checkout zones.
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors regularly and as needed.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to hygiene standards.
- Replenish toiletries, cleaning agents, and other supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure cleaning schedules are followed.
- Assist in sanitizing high-traffic areas especially during peak hours.
- Observe high standards of personal hygiene and maintain professionalism at all times.
