The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is inviting applications from qualified individuals to fill 24,000 Teacher Internship positions in Junior Schools. The internship programme targets unemployed registered teachers who will be assigned to various learning institutions where their teaching expertise will be nurtured through mentorship, coaching, and practical teaching exposure. The internship engagement will run for a period of twelve (12) months.
The Commission is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all eligible individuals, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), in line with constitutional provisions and the law.
MONTHLY STIPEND FOR TEACHER INTERNS
Interns attached to Junior Schools will receive a monthly stipend of Kshs. 20,000, subject to statutory deductions, where applicable. This is not a remunerative engagement but a stipend to facilitate participation in the programme.
