Data Engineer

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Data Engineer within Jubilee Life Insurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Head of Data Engineering and will be based at our Head Office in Nairobi.

Key Skills and Competencies

1. Experience in Python, particularly for data manipulation.
2. Strong experience with SQL.
3. Intermediate to advanced understanding of data architecture and modelling techniques.
4. Exposure to cloud technologies and platform maintenance.
5. Intermediate knowledge of ETL and ELT processes.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
7. Proactive approach to learning and personal development.
8. Ability to manage complex tasks and deliver results within deadlines.

Relevant Experience

• 2–3 years of project experience in a data-related role.
• Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools is an added advantage
