Head Counsel, Litigation

The Head Counsel, Litigation will report directly to the General Group Counsel and will lead a team responsible for litigation and dispute resolution processes within the Bank. The position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the Bank’s interests by providing legal advisory to the Retail and Branch network, Corporate functions, and Head Office departments.

The role involves managing legal issues with a strong emphasis on mitigating risks and preventing adverse legal consequences. The Head Counsel will oversee the preparation and management of legal cases, liaise with external counsel, and provide strategic input to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. This position is highly critical in maintaining the Bank’s reputation and ensuring that legal disputes are managed efficiently and effectively.


Senior Manager, Sustainable Finance, Retail

Reporting to the Head of Sustainable Finance, the Senior Manager for Retail Banking will focus on growing the Bank’s green finance portfolio in the retail sector. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to design innovative and compelling green finance products tailored for retail clients.

In addition to product development, the role requires mobilization of funding from various sources to support sustainable finance initiatives. The position contributes to the Bank’s strategic goal of promoting environmentally responsible banking and enabling customers to access financing solutions that contribute positively to sustainable development. This is a high-impact role for an individual passionate about green growth and sustainability.


Senior Manager, Sustainable Finance, Corporate

The Senior Manager, Sustainable Finance for Corporate Banking will similarly report to the Head of Sustainable Finance. Unlike the retail-focused role, this position will concentrate on expanding the green portfolio within the corporate banking segment.

The role involves working with corporates, institutions, and development partners to create financial products and solutions that advance environmental sustainability. The Senior Manager will also lead efforts to mobilize green funding from both local and international sources to support these initiatives. This position requires deep understanding of corporate financing structures and the ability to integrate sustainability into large-scale financial strategies.


Senior Manager Advisory, Debt Markets

Within KCB Investment Bank, the Senior Manager, Advisory – Debt Markets will report to the Head of Advisory. This position is responsible for deal execution across multiple debt market segments, including syndications and structured products.

The role entails managing the full lifecycle of transactions from origination to execution and placement with investors. It requires significant expertise in structuring debt transactions, engaging with institutional investors, and ensuring efficient deal closure. The Senior Manager will play a key role in revenue generation for the advisory unit by facilitating successful execution of deals and providing high-quality financial advisory services to clients.


Senior Advisory Associate

The Senior Advisory Associate will work under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Advisory, and will contribute to the execution of deals within the Advisory Unit. This role carries responsibility for structuring transactions, preparing transaction documentation, and undertaking detailed financial modelling.

The position is integral to supporting the execution of complex deals and requires strong technical skills in financial analysis, modelling, and documentation. The Senior Advisory Associate will collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful transaction outcomes for clients.


Fraud Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fraud Detection and Prevention, the Fraud Analyst will focus on analyzing data and evidence from fraud management systems, cyber incidents, criminal activities, and related legal matters.

The role involves uncovering and interpreting critical information to support investigations and legal proceedings. In addition, the Fraud Analyst will create awareness of fraud trends across the Bank’s network, contributing to capacity building among staff to mitigate fraud risks. By proactively identifying fraudulent patterns and supporting enforcement actions, the position strengthens the Bank’s defenses against financial crime and supports regulatory compliance.


Cybersecurity Specialist, Security Testing

The Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for assessing risks by identifying and actively testing security weaknesses across the Bank’s systems. This role involves penetration testing and security assessments in multiple areas, including external and internal networks, wireless systems, web and mobile applications, as well as social engineering and physical security testing.

Reporting to the relevant security function, the specialist will determine the potential impacts of identified vulnerabilities and recommend effective remediation measures. The role is critical in ensuring the Bank’s IT infrastructure, applications, and systems are resilient against ever-evolving cybersecurity threats. By simulating real-world attacks, the Cybersecurity Specialist will help the Bank maintain strong defenses and compliance with regulatory and business objectives.
