Job Description
As an Intern in Disability Inclusion, you will work closely with UN-Habitat’s Human Rights and Social Inclusion Unit to support initiatives that strengthen the participation of persons with disabilities in urban development processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the design, coordination, and monitoring of disability-inclusive programmes and projects.
- Supporting research, data collection, and analysis on disability inclusion in urban policies and practices.
- Contributing to the preparation of reports, briefing notes, presentations, and advocacy materials.
- Assisting in organizing meetings, workshops, and events to promote awareness and knowledge sharing.
- Providing general support to the team in implementing activities related to human rights and inclusive development.
This internship provides a unique chance to contribute to the global agenda on inclusive cities and learn directly from experts in the field.
