Job Description:
The intern will contribute to the unit’s work in promoting inclusivity and enhancing UN-Habitat’s outreach. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and dissemination of communication materials such as articles, newsletters, reports, and digital content.
- Assisting in designing and implementing outreach strategies to promote social inclusion across UN-Habitat programmes.
- Coordinating content for social media and other platforms to raise awareness of initiatives on inclusive urban development.
- Assisting in documenting project success stories, case studies, and lessons learned for internal and external audiences.
- Providing logistical and administrative support for events, workshops, and campaigns related to social inclusion.
- Conducting desk research on best practices, innovative communication approaches, and inclusive urban policies.
- Supporting internal knowledge-sharing and ensuring accessibility of communication products.
