About the Role
As a Programme Management Intern, you will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of UNEP projects and activities. This role allows you to gain valuable insights into programme operations, reporting, and stakeholder engagement while contributing to meaningful environmental initiatives.
Job Description
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of UNEP projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Support the preparation of project documents, including work plans, budgets, progress reports, and briefing notes.
- Contribute to research and data collection on thematic areas relevant to UNEP’s mandate.
- Help track project activities and maintain accurate records in programme management systems.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and conferences, including drafting agendas and preparing background materials.
- Assist in drafting correspondence, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with programme officers to follow up on project deliverables and timelines.
- Undertake additional tasks as required to ensure effective programme delivery.
