Job Description
The Manager – Enterprise Risk Management will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across the institution. The individual will be tasked with strengthening the organization’s risk management framework and ensuring that policies and processes are aligned with regulatory standards and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing enterprise risk management frameworks, methodologies, and policies to support effective risk identification and control.
- Conducting regular risk assessments across departments to evaluate exposures and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinating the development of risk registers and ensuring that risk owners are accountable for managing and mitigating risks within their areas of responsibility.
- Preparing risk analysis reports for senior management, highlighting emerging risks and recommending mitigating measures.
- Supporting the Head of Enterprise Risk Management in embedding a risk culture across the institution through awareness programs and training.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in risk management practices.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and ensure timely intervention where required.
- Advising management on risk-related matters that could impact the institution’s operations and reputation.
- Liaising with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders on risk management issues.
- Leading initiatives aimed at strengthening the institution’s resilience and business continuity planning.
