The Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) is a State Corporation established under the Water Act 2016, operating under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. The Agency is mandated to develop and maintain water and sanitation infrastructure within the Coast Region covering six counties, namely: Lamu, Tana River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale and Taita Taveta.

Principal ICT Officer – 1 Position
Job Group: 4
The Principal ICT Officer will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems within the Agency. The position will provide both strategic and operational leadership in ensuring that ICT resources are effectively harnessed to support service delivery, decision-making, and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the planning, design, and implementation of ICT policies, systems, and infrastructure.
- Oversee the management, security, and integrity of ICT systems including networks, databases, and applications.
- Ensure ICT systems support the Agency’s strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.

- Conduct chemical and microbiological analysis of water and wastewater samples.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Corporate Communications Officer – 1 Position

The Corporate Communications Officer will be responsible for internal and external communication, public relations, and branding activities of the Agency.

- Support in calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Artisan III (Pump Operator/Pump Attendant) – 2 Positions

The Pump Operator/Pump Attendant will ensure efficient operation and maintenance of pumping equipment and related systems.

- Operate and monitor water pumping equipment to ensure continuous supply.
