Job Description (JD)
As a Youth Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the design, coordination, and implementation of UNEP youth-focused initiatives, strategies, and programmes.
- Developing and strengthening partnerships with youth networks, organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance environmental advocacy and action.
- Facilitating capacity-building opportunities for young people in line with UNEP’s mandate and strategic objectives.
- Contributing to research, policy development, and knowledge-sharing to integrate youth perspectives into environmental decision-making.
- Coordinating youth-related events, campaigns, and outreach activities to amplify engagement and visibility.
- Providing technical and advisory support to internal teams and partners on matters related to youth and environment.
