QUANTITATIVE FIELD INTERVIEWERS

APHRC is currently leading the Kenya Young Adolescents Gender Norms Study which aims to generate and strategically share evidence on the gender norms that influence behavior, health and socio-economic outcomes among young adolescents aged 10 – 14 years in Kenya.
To support this activity, APHRC invites applications from qualified individuals to serve as Quantitative Field Interviewers for the study.
Data collection will take place in November 2025 – January 2026. Applicants residing in Kilifi, Taita Taveta, Makueni, Tharaka Nithi, Kirinyaga, Nairobi, Garissa, Migori, Kisumu, Kericho, Vihiga, Narok, Uasin Gishu and Turkana are encouraged to apply.
TERMS OF REFERENCE -ASSESSING STUDENT COMPETENCIES (ASC) APPLICATION REDESIGN CONSULTANCY

APHRC plans to engage a consultant to redesign the assessing student competencies (ASC) application to facilitate the seamless processing of data on the application incorporating the views of users who had a hands-on experience in July 2025, and will continue working with the application in the future field design workshops. The consultant will work closely with the Human Development theme, especially the Education and Technology team.
COGNITIVE FIELD INTERVIEWERS

APHRC is currently leading the Kenya Young Adolescents Gender Norms Study which aims to generate and strategically share evidence on key gender norms that influence behavior, health and socio-economic outcomes among young adolescents aged 10 – 14 years in Kenya.
As part of the study’s preparation phase, we will conduct cognitive interviews to assess whether the survey tools are understandable, appropriate and acceptable to the target population. Cognitive interviewing will also help ensure that questions are interpreted (understood) by the target population as intended.
To support this activity, APHRC invites applications from qualified individuals (18) to serve as Cognitive Field Interviewers for the study. Data collection will take place in October and November 2025. Applicants from Kilifi, Narok and Migori counties are encouraged to apply.
