PhD Studentship – Nairobi
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out literature review and design and develop protocols to address the research objectives
- Conduct study entry preparatory activities including obtaining all relevant approvals and permissions.
- Carry out collection of quantitative and qualitative data using various methods
- Conduct qualitative data transcription, analysis and interpretation
- Supervise field personnel supporting in this project
- Conduct quantitative data analysis, interpretation and produce timely summary reports including upgrading report.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-review journals.
- Produce final thesis.
- Participate in protocol development and manuscript review.
- Perform all other duties as requested by the supervisor(s).

9 | Must have published at least two (2) manuscripts in peer-review journals, at least one (1) as first author. | Mandatory |

11 | Commitment to work and reside in Bungoma County, Kenya. | Mandatory |
12 | Willing to travel to Freie Universität Berlin (FUB), Germany for training. | Mandatory |
