The Sales Freelancer role is central to the growth of KBC’s advertising portfolio. The Corporation seeks individuals with a strong interest in sales and marketing, capable of building lasting client relationships while generating new business opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to potential and existing clients on behalf of the Corporation.
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and engaging brands that can contribute to the Corporation’s revenue growth.
- Achieve business revenue and contribution targets set by the Corporation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective client relationship management and service delivery.
- Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence to create targeted sales strategies.
- Develop creative concepts and advertising ideas in radio, television, and digital platforms to use in client proposals and presentations.
- Promote awareness of advertising opportunities available within the Corporation’s platforms.
- Reconcile client accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, collect revenue, and resolve client queries in a timely manner.
- Manage business relationships effectively by ensuring that clients’ needs are understood and addressed promptly.
- Submit monthly sales projections, ensuring consistency with overall corporate objectives, and strive to achieve monthly sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Competency in digital selling and familiarity with online advertising trends.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent client service.
- Capacity to work under minimal supervision while meeting set targets.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- A good understanding of the media and advertising industry will be an added advantage.
Terms of Service
The positions will be offered on a one-year contract. A retainer will be provided for the initial three months, after which the arrangement will shift to a commission-based structure.
