The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nairobi Hiring Protocol and Research Officer

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a suitable qualified Kenyan staff to work as the Protocol and Research Officer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: –

 – Drafting of relevant note verbals, letters, reports and other official documents for the Embassy.

 – Support with all Protocol matters.

 – Facilitating communication between the Embassy and government ministries, agencies and other international organizations.

 – Researching and acquiring information requested by diplomats in regard to political, economic, social, cultural, environmental key issues as well as international affairs and preparing reports for the same.

 – Assisting the administrative Officer on the day to day operations of the Embassy.

 – Assisting in management of the Ambassador’s calendar.

Qualifications

 – Bachelor’s Degree in social science / law / humanities

 – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 – Analytical and problem solving skills

 – Demonstrate sound work ethics

 – Minimum of 3 years working experience in any reputable institution preferably a diplomatic mission or international organization

 – Be computer literate (incl. MS word, Excel)

   Applicants should submit the following documents; Curriculum vitae with a photo, Copies of education certificates mentioned in the C.V., Copy of National I.D. card, Police clearance certificate, Career certificate, Recommendation letter from the previous employer, Copies of NSSF card and NHIF cards.

Interested applicants should drop their applications at the drop box of Korean Embassy, Reception, 1st Floor, MISHA Tower, WESTLANDS Road (Compound #47).

Applicants should submit the following documents;

 1) Duly filled ‘Employment Application Information Sheet’ (posted in the Embassy’s homepage) shall be sent to the Embassy’s email ([email protected]) within 12 hours after dropping below mentioned attached documents.)

 2) Attached Documents: self-introduction letter, copy of National ID card, Curriculum Vitae, copies of education certificates and Transcripts, police clearance certificate, career certificate, Recommendation letter from previous employers, Qualification certificates mentioned in the C.V., copy of NSSF and NHIF card.

 Deadline for the submission is Friday, 26th September 2025, by 4:30pm

 (Embassy Reception will open from 8am to 4:30pm).
