Job Summary
The General Manager, Finance is responsible for establishing and implementing the company’s financial strategy and policies. This position ensures financial compliance, sustainability, and corporate health while providing direction to the Finance Division. Key Responsibilities
The General Manager, Finance will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and oversee the implementation of strategic financial initiatives and Service Level Agreements for the Finance Division.
- Manage the organization’s financing needs by establishing optimal funding structures that support long-term sustainability.
- Guide the company in maintaining compliance with financial covenants and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Oversee preparation and submission of financial reports in line with regulatory requirements.

Person Specifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong professional and leadership qualifications:
- Experience: At least 15 years’ experience in finance management, with a minimum of 5 years at Senior Management level in a large organization.
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
- Professional Certification: CPA Part III, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.
- Registration: Member of ICPAK or a relevant professional body.
- Leadership Training: Completion of a leadership course (minimum 4 weeks) from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of public financial management policies and regulations.
- Compliance: Must meet the Chapter Six constitutional requirements.
