Job Purpose
The ICT Assistant will be responsible for facilitating and managing information and telecommunications through ICT project management and the development of ICT systems. The role focuses on supporting the ICT Directorate in ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining ICT infrastructure, and providing essential technical support to all staff within the Authority.

The duties and responsibilities of the ICT Assistant will include, but are not limited to:
- Testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specifications to ensure they meet required functionality.
- Installing and configuring computer systems to support staff operations and organizational processes.
- Providing user support by addressing technical issues, offering guidance, and resolving ICT-related queries in a timely manner.
- Repairing and maintaining ICT equipment and associated peripherals to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
