This internship is designed for an individual who is passionate about creativity and digital engagement. The successful candidate will play an active role in expanding Cytonn’s visibility across digital platforms, strengthening brand communication, and contributing to public relations strategies.


Job Description

As a Creative Content & Digital Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the communications and marketing team to create compelling content, enhance brand visibility, and support cross-functional campaigns. You will be expected to bring fresh ideas, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to every project.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creative Content Generation
    • Develop and edit content for different formats including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and campaign materials.
    • Ensure all content aligns with Cytonn’s brand voice and communication standards.
  2. Public Relations & Communication
    • Assist in the development of PR materials and contribute to the execution of PR strategies.
    • Support in drafting press releases, statements, and other communication pieces.
  3. Social Media Presence and Growth
    • Manage and actively grow engagement for corporate, executive, and CEO social media pages.
    • Explore trends and implement strategies that increase visibility and interaction across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
  4. SEO Publishing & Thought Leadership
    • Write and publish articles, press releases, and leadership insights optimized for digital reach.
    • Support brand positioning through SEO-friendly content strategies.
  5. Event Coverage
    • Assist in live event coverage including social media updates, photography, caption writing, and post-event storytelling.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure events are well-represented online.
  6. Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Monitor engagement, reach, and effectiveness of content.
    • Prepare regular reports on performance metrics and propose data-driven improvements.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work with product owners and other stakeholders to plan and execute integrated product marketing campaigns.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing initiatives.
  8. Additional Assignments
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support both your personal learning and the organization’s growth.

Requirements

  • Degree or ongoing studies (nearing graduation in the next three months) in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a keen sense of tone and brand voice.
  • Understanding of PR strategies and media positioning principles.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok) and evolving content trends.
  • Proficiency in design and creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
