Vacancy: Marketing Officer
Reporting to: Marketing and Business Development Manager
The Marketing Officer will play a critical role in promoting the KISC brand, driving enrollment, and enhancing the institution’s reputation through innovative and impactful marketing strategies. The role requires a blend of creativity, digital expertise, analytical ability, and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will support the Marketing and Business Development Manager in developing campaigns, creating content, managing digital platforms, and building strong relationships with our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Officer, your role will be broad, dynamic, and results-driven. You will be expected to:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Campaigns
- Design and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that align with the school’s vision and strategic objectives.
- Drive brand visibility and awareness of KISC across both traditional and digital platforms.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and identity.
- Digital Content Creation and Management
- Generate engaging content for social media, the website, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Manage KISC’s social media presence on platforms such as TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Optimize social media strategies for engagement, reach, and lead generation.
- Design and Creative Work
- Develop visually appealing marketing materials using professional tools such as Photoshop, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Create flyers, posters, brochures, and digital assets to support campaigns.
- Innovate with modern design approaches to maintain a vibrant, professional look.
- Video Production and Editing
- Produce and edit high-quality videos for promotional, informational, and social media use.
- Collaborate with departments to capture school activities, events, and testimonials that can be transformed into marketing content.
- Campaign Monitoring and Analytics
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of campaigns.
- Provide data-driven reports and insights for continuous improvement.
- Use tools like Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and analytics dashboards to evaluate ROI.
- CRM Management
- Support the implementation and use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Enhance lead generation, conversion, and retention through effective CRM strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth communication flows with prospective and current parents.
- Event Planning and Promotions
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and promotion of school events, open days, and community engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure successful execution of events.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare timely marketing and performance reports.
- Document marketing activities and maintain archives for reference.
- Adoption of Emerging Technologies
- Utilize advanced AI tools to improve efficiency in content creation, analytics, and reporting.
- Stay updated on emerging marketing trends and tools to keep KISC ahead in the digital space.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong mix of academic knowledge, practical experience, and personal drive. The requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of proven experience in digital marketing and content creation.
- Demonstrated expertise in social media management, including TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Proficiency in using Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and other ad optimization tools.
- Strong skills in graphic design using Photoshop, Canva, and Creative Cloud.
- Ability to produce and edit high-quality videos for diverse platforms.
- Excellent report-writing and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead conversion processes.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Ability to use advanced AI tools to streamline and execute marketing tasks effectively.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, creative, and results-oriented individual with integrity and professionalism.
