Job Description
As an Intern in the Network Operations Centre (NOC), you will:
- Support the monitoring of UNON’s network infrastructure, including servers, connectivity, and system performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting network incidents and escalating issues where necessary.
- Contribute to preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Help maintain accurate records of network activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Support upgrades and configurations of networking hardware and software under supervision.
- Assist in documenting network procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.
- Participate in research and testing of new tools and technologies that can improve NOC operations.
This role will allow interns to develop practical knowledge of ICT infrastructure and operations in a mission-critical environment while working with international ICT experts.
