Job Description
As an Intern in Urban Energy, you will:
- Support the design, planning, and monitoring of energy-related projects and initiatives under UN-Habitat.
- Assist in research and analysis on sustainable energy, renewable energy systems, and urban energy access.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documents, presentations, and reports related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Provide input to project proposals and assist in developing knowledge products and communication materials.
- Support stakeholder engagement with governments, private sector, and community-based organizations on energy solutions in urban contexts.
- Assist in organizing workshops, meetings, and events on energy and climate-related themes.
- Contribute to knowledge management by compiling case studies, best practices, and lessons learned on energy in cities.
This role provides a valuable opportunity to understand the intersection of energy, climate change, and sustainable urbanization within the UN system.
