Job Description
The Infrastructure – Network Operations Centre (NOC) Intern will work with the UNON Information and Communications Technology Section (ICTS) to support daily network operations. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT network systems.
- Supporting the Network Operations Centre team in identifying and resolving connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Participating in the configuration and testing of network equipment.
- Assisting with the documentation of system processes, procedures, and technical reports.
- Supporting ICT staff in responding to incidents, ensuring smooth operations of critical UN systems.
- Contributing to research on innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure resilience and efficiency.
