Senior Manager, Learning & Development
Responsible for the management and execution of learning interventions and the training cycle (identifying training needs, delivery preparation, training delivery, implementation/applying learning and evaluation) relating to assigned business portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads and or coordinates own staff team and other people (trainers, internal line trainers, external trainers, training facility management) involved in training delivery (Execution, Performance, Learning and Development, Recognition, Disciplinary and Grievance Handling) relating to assigned business portfolio.
- Develops Learning, Development plans and budgets relating to assigned business portfolio within the overall department’s plans and budgets.
- Manages the development and execution of Training Needs Analysis (TNA), training calendar, training delivery, training curriculum, aides and tools (review/ research, acquisition/maintenance) relating to assigned business portfolio.
- Designs and ensures the delivery training academies/courses/programs relating to assigned business portfolio.
- Develops &/or reviews and maintains training curriculum, content, materials documents, manuals, aids, tools, and media relating to assigned business portfolio.
- Manages the budget relating to assigned business portfolio within approved Learning, Development and Talent budget.
- Develops, manages and maintains relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders/supplies relating to assigned business.
- Data and record management of TNA documents, training calendars, schedules, invitation and attendance data, staff learner days and training evaluation.
The Ideal Candidate:
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required
- Professional Qualifications: Certificate /Diploma/ Higher Diploma in HR General or certification in instructional design/Master Trainer is required
- Master’s Degree HR Management OR a business-related field will be an added advantage
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- At least 4 years in Learning and Development, preferably within financial institutions.
- 1 year in Talent Management will be desired to have
- 1 year in Project Management
- 3 years of experience in:
- Performance Management
- Customer Service
- People Management
- Relationship Management
- Project Management
