Job Description:
The Intern – Infrastructure (Network Operations Centre) will support the UNON Information and Communications Technology Services (ICTS) team in managing and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure. The role offers hands-on experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization within an enterprise-level ICT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily monitoring of network systems to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.
- Support the identification, diagnosis, and resolution of network issues in collaboration with senior NOC engineers.
- Help maintain and update network documentation, including configurations, incident logs, and service reports.
- Participate in system performance analysis and contribute to improving network reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with routine maintenance, including system backups, updates, and configuration management.
- Support ICT initiatives and projects related to infrastructure development and digital transformation within the UN system.
