The agency is seeking a Children and Youth Development Intern to join its team in Nairobi. Job Description
The Children and Youth Development Intern will support the Children and Youth Branch in implementing programmes and initiatives that enhance the participation of young people in urban development. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the design, planning, and coordination of youth-focused projects and events.
- Supporting the development of communication materials, reports, and knowledge products highlighting youth initiatives.
- Conducting research and data analysis on issues related to children and youth in urban environments.
- Assisting in monitoring and evaluating programme activities, collecting data, and preparing progress updates.
- Supporting outreach, advocacy, and partnership-building efforts with youth-led organizations and networks.
- Providing administrative and logistical support for workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
