We are looking to fill the position of the Sales Executive – Tender & Government Sales. The role reports to the Tender & Government Sales Manager and will be based at the Head office.
The role is responsible for the achievement of sales targets for the department by ensuring timely and accurate tender preparation and submission.
Main Responsibilities of the Job
Supervisory
- Support the departmental Manager in preparing the Department’s Monthly Rundown (Sales Projections) to assist in planning/ monitoring performance against the CFAO overall business targets.

Operational Responsibilities
- Actively follow up on new leads and referrals from the GOK portal, websites, and newspapers to increase the department’s leads and attain set sales targets.
- Participate in all Brands Vehicle/ Motorcycles and after-sales tender preparation and submission to ensure timeliness and compliance with the specifications of the tender.
- Preparation of bank guarantees for the network as and when required.
- Prepare detailed reports for all tender opening results to ensure the availability of information required for the development and implementation of strategies that enhance future winning possibilities.
- Follow up on debts/payments for all units delivered in the department.
- Prequalify credit customers and communicate with successful ones to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the credit sales process.
- Compliance with the sales Operation Processes to ensure minimal exposure to risks.
- Coordinate customer training with the Technical Team to increase customer loyalty and retention.
- Resolve/escalate customer complaints promptly for enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Maintain data and reports/tracking sheets on all tenders submitted and to be submitted per brand.
- Order bank management: Conform to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirement on order intake to ensure 100% clean order bank.
- Follow-up with the sales process for customers’ vehicle orders including accessories, conversion, and other special requirements, registration as well and delivery ensuring timely delivery of units to the clients as per CFAO service delivery promise.
- Final delivery of units to the end customer.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field or Engineering from a recognized institution
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience Vehicle Sales or Aftersales
- Product knowledge – vehicle specification, basic mechanical knowledge
