Christ Is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) is an English-speaking Pentecostal church dedicated to the holistic proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to positively impact society in every sphere of life. SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS
Job Summary
The School Bus Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for CITAM Schools. The role ensures that students are transported safely to and from school, as well as during official trips, while maintaining the highest standards of discipline, care, and adherence to traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses to transport students and staff to designated destinations, ensuring punctuality and adherence to planned routes and schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to confirm roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance checks.
- Enforce safety rules and ensure that all passengers adhere to bus regulations during transit.
- Immediately report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the Transport Officer or relevant supervisor.
- Assist in ensuring that students board and disembark the bus safely, maintaining order and decorum throughout the journey.
- Ensure proper upkeep of the vehicle through regular servicing, washing, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with school administrators and transport coordinators to plan and execute field trips, excursions, and special transportation needs.
- Monitor traffic and weather conditions to make informed decisions on safe driving practices and necessary route adjustments.
- Uphold CITAM’s values and represent the organization with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
Additional Duties
- Support the transport department in logistical tasks such as vehicle assignments, minor administrative roles, and emergency response operations when required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school operations.

TRUCK DRIVER
Job Summary
The Truck Driver will play a key role in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods and materials within CITAM’s various departments, ministries, and business units. The position involves operating heavy vehicles, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining vehicle integrity, and adhering to transport policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive CITAM’s trucks to transport goods, supplies, and equipment between various CITAM facilities, vendors, and project sites.
- Plan and execute delivery schedules to meet operational and logistical timelines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, oil levels, tire pressure, and other mechanical components.
- Maintain detailed trip logs including mileage, delivery destinations, load weights, and delivery times.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods, observing safety precautions to prevent damage or loss.
- Monitor and report vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly to the Fleet Supervisor or Transport Manager.
- Ensure adherence to all traffic rules, CITAM driving policies, and relevant national transport regulations.
- Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery notes, and return documentation.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and procurement teams to verify items and coordinate smooth delivery operations.
- Respond effectively to emergencies such as breakdowns or delays, ensuring timely communication and problem resolution.
Additional Duties
- Support general transport and logistics operations as assigned, especially during high-demand periods.
- Assist with fleet management tasks including fueling, documentation, and vehicle rotation schedules.
- Represent CITAM with professionalism during external interactions, including at delivery points and with suppliers.

LAB TECHNICIAN
Job Summary
The Lab Technician will be responsible for providing technical support in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of laboratory facilities within CITAM Schools. The role ensures that practical sessions, experiments, and demonstrations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in alignment with educational standards and institutional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment, materials, and chemical solutions required for science lessons and experiments.
- Set up and dismantle laboratory apparatus before and after student practical sessions.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of laboratory materials and chemical substances in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment, and report shortages or damages to the relevant authority.
- Conduct regular inspection and calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Supervise students during laboratory sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment.
- Assist teachers in developing and implementing practical experiments and demonstrations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the laboratory to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Implement and enforce safety measures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support the integration of practical science learning into classroom teaching.
- Report any safety incidents or hazards to the school administration for immediate action.
Additional Duties
- Assist in training students on laboratory safety and good laboratory practices.
- Support the department in conducting laboratory-based assessments and projects.
- Participate in stock-taking exercises and procurement planning for laboratory needs.
- Carry out minor maintenance and repairs of laboratory equipment where necessary or coordinate with maintenance personnel for major servicing.
