PARTS SALES ADVISOR

Job Purpose
The Parts Sales Advisor will be responsible for managing parts sales through both the retail and workshop counters. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and an ability to meet sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to customers at the retail counter and service workshop, providing prompt and professional assistance.
  • Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate parts and accessories, and process sales transactions accurately.
  • Ensure that all parts issued are properly documented and recorded in the company’s system.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient availability of parts while minimizing overstocking and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement departments to facilitate timely replenishment of parts.
  • Prepare quotations, invoices, and receipts for parts requested by customers and internal departments.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of parts specifications, pricing, and compatibility to ensure correct advice to customers.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints in a courteous and effective manner, ensuring positive relationships are maintained.
  • Participate in stocktaking exercises and contribute to maintaining accurate inventory data.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental sales and performance targets.
