About the Role
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) invites applications for the position of Communication Programme Support Intern based in Nairobi. Job Description
Under the supervision of the Communication and Outreach Officer, the intern will support the team in implementing communication activities and strengthening the visibility of UN-Habitat’s work. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation and dissemination of communication materials such as press releases, articles, newsletters, and social media content.
- Supporting multimedia content development, including photography, video editing, and graphic design.
- Helping maintain and update web and social media platforms to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
- Assisting in organizing communication campaigns, media events, and public outreach activities.
- Conducting research and compiling information to support communication strategies and storytelling initiatives.
- Assisting in monitoring media coverage and preparing communication performance reports.
- Performing other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the team’s objectives.
