Job DescriptionThe Regional Sales Executive-Bancassurance is responsible for leading, managing, and developing a highly productive bancassurance unit within specified regions in Kenya. The role involves driving sales across Health (Medical), General (Non-Life), and Renewals portfolios. A critical component of this role is ensuring exceptional customer retention through proactive management of renewals and the effective, timely resolution of customer complaints and service issues across the assigned regions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES.
- To Scale up insurance product sales through partnership with relevant banking stakeholders Act as centralized consultant in administration of bancassurance business product Utilize various sales techniques, such as cold calling, referrals, and networking, to generate leads and maximize sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify new markets and opportunities for growth across the assigned regions, focusing on both individual and corporate clients.
- Ensuring a continuous and updated pipeline of new business acquisition. Implement proactive strategies to engage customers, address concerns, and secure timely policy persistence and renewals across all product lines.
- Serve as a secondary point of escalation and resolution for high-priority customer complaints and service issues across the regions.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely weekly/monthly reports on unit sales production, persistency, manpower growth, customer complaints, and market intelligence to the Manager.
- Systematically track, manage, and resolve all customer complaints related to sales, policy servicing, claims, and underwriting efficiently and within stipulated Service .
- Continuous monitoring of the products and identification of gaps that may open the product to key business and financial risks.
- Ensure compliance and adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in Kenya.
- Conduct product and system training to staff and intermediaries of individual banks to ensure product knowledge and avoid mis selling
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE.
- Diploma in business, Finance, or related field.
- – Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or financial services.
- – Proven track record of sales growth and team management.
- – Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
