Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have: 

  1. Cumulative service period of three (3) years’ at the grade of Registration and Compliance Officer I or in a comparable position; 
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics, Business, Medicine, Social Science, or Pharmacy equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; 
  3. Proficiency in computer applications; 
  4. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results. 

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for undertaking the empanelment of health providers, processing beneficiary registrations, conducting compliance audits, and implementing performance-based contracting methodologies under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Undertaking the empanelment process for licensed health providers and facilities under the guidance of senior staff; 
  2. Processing beneficiary registrations and ensuring data accuracy; 
  3. Monitoring operational activities for compliance with the SHA Act and reporting any discrepancies; 
  4. Conducting compliance audit on providers and beneficiaries; 
  5. Assisting in the implementation of operational strategies for member registration and public education; 
  6. Collaborating with County Governments and partners to promote SHA membership; 
  7. Participating in stakeholder engagement activities to support registration and revenue targets; 
  8. Implementing performance-based contracting methodologies under supervision; 
  9. Implementing clinical audit policies and strategies; 
  10. Conducting health needs assessments and risk assessments under guidance; 
  11. Participating in Health Needs Assessments for clinical interventions and technologies; 
  12. Assisting in the inclusion of drugs and consumables in the SHA positive list;
