The High Commission of India, Nairobi invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Gardener
Eligibility criteria for the post of Gardener
- Age Limit: Age group of 22-35 years
Educational Qualification:
- A minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Good proficiency in speaking English is a must
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience of working as a Gardener preferably in a Diplomatic Mission/UN.
- Knowledge of gardening, landscaping, or maintenance of lawns and plants in a reputed organization/residence.
- Knowledge of local plants, seasonal flowers, pruning, soil preparation, and pest control preferred.
Skills Required:
- Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely.
- Knowledge of watering systems, composting, and maintenance of indoor/outdoor plants.
- Basic understanding of garden layout and plant care schedules.
Physical Fitness:
- Applicant should be physically fit and capable of performing outdoor manual work throughout the year.
Character and Antecedents:
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and Health Certificate are mandatory for selection which can be submitted on later stage.
