The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is a State Corporation established under the Science, Technology and Innovation Act, No. 28 of 2013, with the mandate to develop and manage the National Innovation System. The Agency plays a central role in promoting, coordinating, and strengthening innovation development, collaboration, and commercialization in Kenya.

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OFFICER I – KENIA GRADE 7 (Post 1)

The Human Resource Management Officer I will be responsible for implementing human resource management functions and ensuring efficient delivery of personnel and administrative services.
Job Description
- Implement human resource policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Administer staff recruitment, selection, and placement processes.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Coordinate staff performance appraisal and career progression systems.
- Process payroll, leave, and employee welfare matters.
- Facilitate employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
- Participate in developing HR plans and workforce management strategies.
- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation for management.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, policies, and regulations.
- Support staff capacity-building and training initiatives.
