Job Description:
The Artificial Technology Intern will support UNEP’s efforts to leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and digital innovation, to enhance environmental monitoring, analysis, and decision-making. The intern will assist in researching and evaluating AI-driven tools and methodologies that can improve data collection, modelling, and sustainability reporting.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the development of prototypes or digital dashboards, supporting data visualization and analytics initiatives, and assisting in the preparation of technical documentation and reports. The intern will also help coordinate collaborative projects between UNEP and technology partners, universities, and research institutions. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience at the intersection of technology, data, and environmental sustainability.
