1. Senior Application Developer

The Senior Application Developer will lead the end-to-end development of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise systems. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying high-volume software applications that support core business operations.

Job Description:

  • Lead application design, development, and implementation across various technology stacks including Java, Red Hat integrations, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps environments.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, solution architecture, and translation of business needs into high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop robust, scalable, and secure application modules to support enterprise operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the bank to ensure integration and alignment with existing systems.
  • Act as a technical lead on development projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and technical governance.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Provide thought leadership in software engineering, integration patterns, and modern development methodologies.
  • Guide junior developers and contribute to internal capability-building within the software development function.

2. DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will optimize development pipelines, automate deployment processes, and enhance system reliability by bridging development and operations teams.

Job Description:

  • Work closely with developers to streamline application build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, stable, and reliable software releases.
  • Support full-stack implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration between applications and runtime environments.
  • Enhance monitoring, observability, and incident-response mechanisms across production environments.
  • Identify bottlenecks in development workflows and propose improvements for efficiency.
  • Ensure that deployment processes align with DevOps best practices, security guidelines, and enterprise standards.
  • Act as a liaison between development and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination and quick resolution of deployment or system issues.

3. Category Sourcing Specialist

The Category Sourcing Specialist will manage sourcing activities to ensure the bank procures goods and services that meet quality, cost, and efficiency standards.

Job Description:

  • Lead sourcing processes including evaluation of vendors and negotiation of procurement terms.
  • Publish, manage, and coordinate Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
  • Raise purchase orders, track fulfillment, and follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain updated vendor records and ensure supplier compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Assess supplier performance, resolve supply bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements.
  • Support cost-optimisation initiatives while maintaining quality standards across procurement categories.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate procurement needs and ensure alignment with bank policies.

4. Product Configuration Specialist

Reporting to the Senior Manager Digital Channels, the Product Configuration Specialist will oversee system administration to ensure availability, performance, and reliability of digital platforms.

Job Description:

  • Administer and maintain digital channel systems to support high availability and a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide level-3 production support for channel services, including handling system configurations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to define requirements, feature improvements, and roadmaps.
  • Plan and execute platform updates, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Support innovation initiatives across payments and lending platforms, working closely with technology teams and third-party vendors.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of new digital products and services.
  • Facilitate integration of new solutions that enhance customer self-service and digital journeys.
  • Participate in ensuring system reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

5. Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

The Manager Cloud Infrastructure will design, build, and support scalable and distributed cloud environments using Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Job Description:

  • Architect and maintain robust PaaS environments to support mission-critical digital services.
  • Lead the deployment and management of Kubernetes-based infrastructures, ensuring efficiency, performance, and fault tolerance.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to facilitate seamless integration with cloud systems.
  • Streamline internal processes and implement workflow enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive cloud automation initiatives to support scaling, monitoring, and maintaining cloud workloads.
  • Champion the “open source first” strategy and guide its adoption within the cloud function.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the cloud infrastructure team.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and resilience across cloud platforms.
  • Lead disaster recovery and continuity planning for cloud-based services.

6. Head, Fundraising – KCB Foundation

The Head of Fundraising will spearhead fundraising strategies for KCB Foundation’s regional programs aimed at economic empowerment, education, and social impact.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the Foundation’s mission and long-term priorities.
  • Identify funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government institutions.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee proposal development, grant applications, partnership agreements, and reporting.
  • Lead fundraising campaigns and strategic initiatives across multiple countries.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align fundraising outcomes with programmatic goals.
  • Monitor fundraising pipelines, donor portfolios, and resource mobilization performance.
  • Represent the Foundation in donor engagements, conferences, and strategic platforms.
  • Ensure accountability, stewardship, and transparency in donor-funded initiatives.
