Job Description
The Programme Support Intern will provide day-to-day assistance to the Programme Management team, contributing to the planning, coordination, and monitoring of UNEP initiatives. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the preparation, organization, and documentation of meetings, workshops, and programme activities.
- Assisting in drafting reports, briefs, presentations, and other programme-related materials.
- Contributing to data collection, research, and analysis to support project planning and implementation.
- Helping track project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure activities remain on schedule.
- Assisting with the maintenance of programme files, databases, and shared platforms for effective information management.
- Liaising with internal teams to gather inputs, coordinate tasks, and support collaborative project efforts.
- Providing logistical support for programme events, missions, and administrative functions.
- Supporting communication efforts, including the preparation of summaries, minutes, and updates for internal circulation.
This internship offers practical exposure to environmental programme management and an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals within the UN system.
