Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Planning
You will be responsible for defining, agreeing on, and executing comprehensive sales activity plans tailored to your assigned accounts. This includes leveraging all available sales tools, data, and insights provided by the Sales Strategy and Planning team. Your plans should focus on maximizing opportunities and ensuring that revenue targets are consistently met.

2. Market and Customer Analysis
A critical part of your role involves analysing market potential to understand the value of both existing and prospective customers. You will assess their contribution in terms of revenue opportunities and use the sales toolkit to convert potential into tangible business. Your recommendations will help shape the direction of sales initiatives and customer engagement approaches.

3. Supporting Business Development
You will gather, consolidate and review market and customer information to identify areas that require attention or intervention. This data-driven approach will support regional business development efforts and guide the introduction of products and services that align with customer needs and market trends.

4. Relationship Management
Building and nurturing strong business relationships is central to this position. You will establish, maintain and expand professional connections with assigned accounts and prospective customers. Through consistent engagement, follow-ups, and use of modern nurturing techniques, you will help generate additional revenue and ensure sustainable partnerships.

5. Account Engagement and Communication
You will regularly communicate with your accounts, presenting information on new products, services, promotions, and value propositions. This ensures customers remain informed, engaged, and aligned with Etihad’s offerings, ultimately supporting target achievement.

6. Trusted Advisory Role
A significant expectation in this role is to position yourself as a trusted advisor to key accounts. By understanding their evolving needs, offering expert guidance, and anticipating their business requirements, you will help cultivate long-term, high-value partnerships that benefit both the customer and the airline.

7. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis
You will research, gather and analyse competitor strategies, market behaviour and broader industry developments. This intelligence enables the sales team to adopt the most effective selling approaches, enhance Etihad’s market visibility and ultimately increase its market share.

8. Collaboration with Global Sales Enablement
Working collaboratively with the global sales enablement team, you will help determine the most impactful promotional and sales techniques. This collective approach ensures that Etihad remains competitive and continues to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

9. Value Proposition Communication
You will ensure that all account stakeholders receive timely and updated information on new offers, promotions and products. This consistent communication helps maintain customer confidence and ensures Etihad’s value proposition remains relevant and compelling.

10. Contract Coordination and Compliance
Your role includes coordinating, drafting and supporting the negotiation of contractual agreements with assigned accounts. You will ensure that customer requirements are accurately captured and that all agreements comply with corporate policies and standards.

11. Commercial Negotiations
You will manage commercial agreements and negotiations, always ensuring alignment with Etihad’s corporate guidelines. Your ability to close deals, resolve contract issues, and maintain professional integrity will be essential in meeting sales objectives.

12. Training and CRM Management
You will complete all required Etihad commercial training and act as a knowledgeable resource within your area of specialization. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information within Etihad’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and effective account management.
