The University is expanding its academic horizons by seeking exceptional international scholars, researchers, and industry-experienced academics from around the world to join our team. The candidates should be willing to relocate to Kenya for a period of at least two (2) years.Duties and responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer academic and administrative leadership;
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Contribute to curriculum internationalisation;
- Mentor junior academic and research staff;
- Supervise research and mentor diverse student cohorts;
- Engage in impactful research, publications, and grant applications;
- Support global partnerships and cross-cultural initiatives;
- Bring fresh, global perspectives to the classroom and the University at large;
- Community service and outreach.
qualification and experience
- A minimum of a relevant PhD and a Master�s degree in Nursing (Medical-Surgical, Paediatrics, Critical Care or Psychiatry) from an accredited university;
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university;
- Be registrable with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Additional Qualifications Requirements:
- Must be currently serving at the level of a Senior Lecturer in an accredited University;
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the university level;
- Must have evidence of publications, attendance and contribution at academic conferences and having attracted research funds;
- Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion;
- Demonstrable leadership, administrative experience and abilities.

- Student-centred teaching approach.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in multicultural environments
