The KCB Foundation was established in 2007 to implement the KCB Bank Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs and as a sign of commitment to sustainable development to alleviate poverty and enhance well-being.

To date, the KCB Foundation has invested an estimated 3 Billion Kenya Shillings in community programs in Kenya, South Sudan, Rwanda Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi. As a good corporate citizen, the KCB Bank Group is committed to sustainable development, prosperity and poverty reduction to address the hardship, high poverty levels and interconnected challenges that affect communities in Eastern Africa.
The KCB Foundation programs are designed to address issues of relevance specifically within the thematic areas of Education, Enterprise Development, Health, Environment and Humanitarian Intervention. The programs are customized in each of the KCB countries to ensure that they are answering to the relevant development priorities.
KCB Scholars Programme 2026 application is open
For over 18 years, the KCB Scholars Programme has empowered bright and underprivileged students to access quality education.
This year, we continue that journey by selecting a new group of learners who are ready to take the next step.
Qualification
To qualify for the Senior School scholarship, all applicants must fulfill the criteria below:
- Must have sat for Grade 9 KJSEA in 2025 at a Public Junior School.
- Has met the respective county merit scores.
- Comes from a needy background.
We accept applications from all 47 counties. Refugee students who are duly registered are encouraged
to apply.
Instructions
1. Please fill out the application form for 2026 ONLY, as clearly and completely as possible. Where
information is absolutely not available, please mark (NOT AVAILABLE). However, remember that the
more information you make available to us, the better it is for us to evaluate your application.
Forms from previous years WILL NOT be accepted.
2. Attach copies of the following documents, failure to which your application WILL NOT be considered.
A. Birth Certificate
B. Parent/Guardian National ID
C. Parent Death Certificate, where applicable
D. Payslip of Parent/Guardian if employed
E. KJSEA result slip
F. Evidence of extracurricular activity e.g. certificates, membership etc.
G. Evidence of leadership
H. Senior School calling letter
I. Admission letter to Senior School placed
3. Applicants to attend interviews with their application forms and all documentation required. No
application forms should be dropped off at any KCB Branch.
All answers MUST be written in the spaces provided within the form and filled by the student applying
for the position. You are NOT allowed to insert any extra pages.

- Any omissions or false representation will lead to automatic disqualification.

- If sponsored, provide a confirmation letter from your sponsor.
