Job Description – Environmental Affairs Intern
Under the supervision of the assigned officer, the intern will provide support to UNEP’s environmental affairs activities. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting in research, data collection, and analysis related to environmental policies, programmes, and projects.
- Supporting the preparation of reports, briefing notes, presentations, and background documents on environmental issues.
- Assisting with coordination of meetings, workshops, and events, including preparation of agendas and summary notes.
- Supporting monitoring and tracking of programme activities and deliverables.
- Assisting in maintaining databases, records, and documentation related to environmental projects.
- Supporting communication and outreach activities, including drafting content for internal or external use when required.
- Performing other duties related to environmental affairs and programme support as assigned by the supervisor.
