Duties and Responsibilities

The Team Assistant – Protocol Intern will support the Protocol Unit in the delivery of administrative and protocol-related services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the coordination and preparation of official meetings, conferences, and high-level events.
  • Supporting protocol arrangements for visiting dignitaries, delegates, and officials.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Protocol team.
  • Assisting with documentation, record keeping, and information management.
  • Supporting communication and coordination with internal offices and external stakeholders.
  • Performing any other related duties as assigned in support of protocol operations.

Languages

Language requirements will be applied in line with United Nations internship standards and operational needs.


Additional Information

This internship is based in Nairobi and is conducted in person at the UN Complex in Gigiri. Interns are expected to adhere to UN policies, standards of conduct, and administrative procedures throughout the duration of the assignment.
