Newry Farm Limited is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Poultry Supervisor to oversee and manage daily poultry farm operations in line with best farming and biosecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day poultry farm activities, including feeding, cleaning, egg collection, and record keeping
- Ensure strict adherence to flock health, hygiene, and biosecurity standards
- Lead, supervise, and guide poultry farm workers to achieve optimal productivity
- Monitor feed consumption, mortality rates, and overall production performance
- Prepare and submit regular farm reports to management
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate in Animal Health and Production or General Agriculture from a recognized institution
- Minimum of three (3) years’ hands-on experience in a farm setting, with a strong focus on poultry farming
- Proven leadership, communication, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High levels of integrity, discipline, and commitment to work
